ThreadLabs
ThreadLabs are the hands-on learning spaces of The R.K. Foundation, where curiosity is honored, voices are nurtured, and young people are invited to explore who they are becoming. Each ThreadLab is designed as a safe, intentional environment that blends creativity, learning, and leadership, allowing youth to engage with ideas, tools, and expression in ways that feel accessible and empowering. Through storytelling, arts, technology, and dialogue, ThreadLabs help young people build confidence, emotional awareness, and a sense of belonging while discovering the threads that connect their experiences, talents, and future possibilities.
Our ThreadLabs include youth voice and storytelling initiatives, creative expression through art, music, and spoken word, and future-focused learning experiences such as AI, coding, and digital literacy. As the Foundation grows, ThreadLabs will continue to expand, evolving alongside the needs of the youth we serve, while remaining rooted in our commitment to legacy, education, belonging, empowerment, and resilience. Together, these labs form a living ecosystem of learning where youth are not just prepared for the future, but invited to help shape it.

M.A.P. Youth Movement Program
Some children find their confidence on a field.
Some find it on a mat.
Some find it through rhythm, balance, breath, strength, or simply learning to trust their own body.
M.A.P. was created for all of them.
Through movement, athletics, and purpose, The R.K. Foundation helps youth explore the power of their bodies while building the strength of their character. Whether through sports, yoga, gymnastics, dance, fitness, or guided wellness activities, M.A.P. gives young people a place to grow, reset, challenge themselves, and discover what they are truly M.A.D.E. of.

AI, Code and Curiosity
Created to help youth step into the future with confidence instead of fear, our Ai coding and curiosity program invites youth to explore the tools of tomorrow while developing the curiosity, confidence, and critical thinking needed to imagine what comes next.
Through coding, digital literacy, responsible AI use, creative projects, and guided exploration, students learn that technology is not just something they consume, it is something they can question, shape, build, and use with purpose.
Because the future should not be built around them without them.

Youth Voice Initiative
Our Youth Voice Initiative is a youth-centered storytelling and dialogue program operated by The R.K. Foundation in partnership with The Rabbit Files podcast. Through a dedicated youth segment, the Foundation provides students from partner schools with a safe, structured platform to be heard, spotlighted, share perspectives, and engage in meaningful conversations they may not otherwise feel comfortable initiating.

Creative Expression & Arts
The Creative Expression & Arts ThreadLab provides youth with a space to explore emotion, identity, and self-understanding through art, music, and spoken word. This lab is rooted in the belief that creative practice is not just an outlet, but a powerful tool for reflection, connection, and healing. By engaging multiple forms of expression, youth are encouraged to process their experiences, develop confidence, and connect with others in meaningful ways.

Youth Legacy Initiative
This initiative approaches leadership as an internal practice shaped by values, responsibility, and service. Youth are encouraged to reflect on who they are, what they stand for, and how they show up for others. By celebrating positive role models and community impact through initiatives such as the Legacy Impact Awards, the Youth Legacy Initiative reinforces the belief that young people already carry influence, and that their actions today help define the future they are building.
